عندما تعمل في شركة فإنة يمكن أن تتأخر بعض الأوقات. ربما يكون ذلك بسبب مرضك او الازدحام في اشارات المرور.
سوف ندرس بعض الجمل التي نحتاجها للتعبير عن التاخير.
Five minutes late
"Sorry I'm late. Traffic was unusually bad today."
اسف انا اتاخرت. المرور كانت سيئة اليوم بصورة غير معتادة.
"I apologize for being late. I had to drop off my wife at work. It took longer than I thought."
اعتذر عن تاخيري. إضطررت ان اوصل زوجتي الي العمل. لقد أخذ ذلك أكثر مما كنت اعتقد.
"I had a dentist appointment this morning and it was longer than I expected."
كان لدي ميعاد مع دكتور الاسنان هذا الصباح وأخذ أكثر مما أتوقع.
"I'm sorry for being late. I got stuck in every light this morning."
اسف لتاخيري. كنت اقف وقتا طويلا عند كل إشارة في الصباح.
If you are the boss, then you might want to ask why your employee is late. Let's see some of these sentences.
"Running late this morning?"
لماذا تاخرت هذا الصباح؟
"What held you up this morning?"
لماذا تاخرت هذا الصباح؟
"Do you have a reason for being late?"
هل لديك سبب لتاخرك؟
"Why are you late?"
لماذا تأخرت؟
A boss or manager will not be too upset if you are late only once or very rarely. But if this is a constant habit, they might be a little more upset.
"You have been late three times in the last two weeks. Is this going to be a continual problem?"
لقد تاخرت في ثلاث مرات في الاسبوعين الماضين. هل هذة سوف تكون مشكلة دائمة؟
"Your tardiness is getting out of hand. You had better start managing your morning time better."
تأخيرك أصبح خارج السيطرة. من الافضل ان تبدا في غدارة وقت الصباح بشكل أفضل.
"I expect you to be at your desk at eight o'clock. Do you have a problem with this?"
اتوقع انك يجب ان تكون في مكتبك في الساعة الثامنة مساءا. هل لديك مشكلة في ذلك؟
If you hear one of these statements, then you better say something that will calm
the boss down. Also, you shouldn't let this happen again so tell him or her it won't happen again.
"I am terribly sorry. It won't happen again."
انا اسف جدا. لن يحدث هذا ثانية.
